Share Savings
Your Midland Credit Union Share Savings establishes your credit union membership. This account allows you to earn dividends (paid monthly) while saving for your financial future. Minimum balance is $25.
Money Market Share Savings
Minimum balance requirement of $10,000 to earn dividends. There are no penalties for early withdrawal; if your Money Market account balance falls below the minimum, no dividends will be earned. May make up to six (6) free withdrawals a month from this account. No more than six (6) preauthorized, automatic or telephone transfers may be made from this account to another account of yours or to a third party in any month, and no more than three (3) of these sic (6) withdrawals can be made to a 3rd party. If six (6) withdrawals are exceeded a fee will apply to each transaction over six (6). Fee is $5.00 per transaction over six (6).
Share Draft
Share draft accounts at Midland Credit Union offer checking with a difference. Your share draft account has no flat monthly fees, and you'll earn monthly dividends on your average daily balance. For added convenience, we offer a MasterMoney Debit/ATM card. Use this card at ATMs and merchants worldwide to access the funds in your share draft account.
ATM Surcharge
An ATM surcharge fee is not charged or controlled by Midland Credit Union. The fee is 100% controlled and charged by the owner of the ATM. The machine should advise you on the screen if there will be a charge, you have the option of canceling the transaction to avoid the fee. Use your Cash Valu ATM Card or MasterMoney Debit card at the checkout counter, select "Debit/ATM" and request cash back for no charge. We and the retailer provide all "purchase" transactions at no charge to you. Use your MasterMoney Debit card as a "Credit" transaction and avoid the need to carry extra cash or checks. The MasterMoney Debit card can be presented wherever MasterCard is accepted and the transaction will be withdrawn from your checking account with location of purchase appearing on your statement. If you do not have the MasterMoney Debit card, call us today and request an application.

IRA's

IRA contribution limits are the highest they've ever been. Taking full advantage of the higher limits can go a long way toward creating a financially secure retirement. For both Traditional and Roth IRA's, the contribution limit for 2007 is $4000; and starting in 2008, $5000. And if you're age 50 or older, you can make additional catch-up contributions--up to an extra $1000.
